London Ho!

Take that any way you wish.

My work permit finally came in. Actually, it came in the first time, and I got this telephone call from my agency, and the guy was laughing so hard he could hardly speak. Evidently, the Home Office had issued my work permit with the "Male" box checked. So I am a boy.

They reissued it, though, and now finally I'm a girl again. But I have to leave the country and come back in to get it stamped.

Well, so anyway, I have just met a woman named Liz, who is a friend of a friend. She was coming to London, so the friend in question told us to hook up, and we are, and we have been laughing our heads off. We are going to go to Brussels over the weekend, so that I can get my passport stamped, and I'm really looking forward to it.

I talked to my friend, Chris, the other day, who is in Gaza. A friend of his was just killed, and he's really broken up about it. I don't feel like I can talk about that or the war yet, so I'll save that for another day.
