HEDGEHOGS

So last night we were walking out in the back garden with our camping lantern, and I saw something lumbering around toward the back. Went over, and discovered it was a hedgehog, who did not appear to be unduly concerned about the fact that we were standing there looking at him.

He was probably trying to find a place to hibernate. Eventually he wandered over to the patio and crawled under it to look around.

Very cute!

I considered trying to get a picture, but thought the flash might scare him. Maybe next time!
