Unforeseen Consequences

I brought home a new houseplant a little while back. It's a great-looking plant, kind of tall with these great tricoloured leaves.

Of course I want it to be healthy, so I thought I'd look online to find out what kind of light it needs, etc. The only problem, of course, is that I had no idea what kind of a plant it was. It didn't have a label or anything.

So I spent quite a bit of time trolling t'internet looking at various photos of houseplants. No joy.

Then, yesterday, I suddenly thought, "You know, it looks a lot like a rubber tree plant, only with variegated leaves." So I typed "Variegated Rubber Tree Plant" into Google, and, you guessed it, that's what I've got.

The only problem is that now I've had the song "High Hopes" stuck in my head for the last 24 hours.

These things should come with some kind of a warning label
